Is my custom video interview confidential?

Yes. Your custom video interview is privately recorded and securely hosted. It will be delivered directly to you as the customer, giving you full discretion to share it with whoever you would like. 

What if my loved one is not comfortable sharing details about their life? 

The interview is hosted by a professional podcast host, acting as a trusted facilitator to help produce a memorable and impactful conversation focused on your loved one. The final product is intended to be shared with whomever they are comfortable with. 

How do I ask my loved one to do this? I don’t want to imply that their time is coming soon. 

Legacy Kapusle can be purchased for all ages. It is not meant to be a morbid experience, but rather to serve as a video time capsule representing the featured interviewee at the current moment, so that they can be appreciated and recognized for generations to come. We would recommend that you focus on making the ask around honoring their life accomplishments, stories, and experiences to date, which will turn into a lasting memory forever. 

Why should I get a Legacy Kapsule if I can just record an interview myself?

Regardless of how skilled an interviewer you are, there is immense uniqueness in having a third party, unbiased facilitator host an interview about one’s life story. There is often an unconscious bias when these conversations are had between close family members or friends, which bring out specific mannerisms or topic avoidances. Some of the most powerful feedback we have received has been around how much is learned by even the closest family members of their loved ones after watching a Legacy Kapsule. 

Is this recorded in-person or virtually?

This service is currently offered in-person for the Southern California region, but can be done virtually for anyone interested. 

How is the final edited video delivered? 

The final edited video can be delivered via online file transfer (included) or via SD card for an additional $20. 

Can I request highlight clips or make other custom requests? 

Yes. This is a custom service and you can purchase highlight clips as add-ons. Discuss your preferences with the podcaster and we will work with you to create what you are looking for.
